Voting Question: Is the police scanner frequency in Lubbock, TX digital?

I was using my analog scanner last night and I am getting some of their conversations on the 858.2375, 858.7375, 858.9875... etc. But it seems that they are on a bunch of different channels, and after every time they talk, I get 5 beeps. Is this because they are on a digital system? Or is there something I'm doing wrong, because usually I can leave it on one channel and listen to the entire conversation from both sides without changing channels.... read more
